Dr. Jill’s Commentary
Rose hip solid extract is my go-to replacement for patients who are sensitive to standard Vitamin C. For some people affected by mold, any supplement synthesized from fungus can aggravate symptoms. Ascorbic acid, or Vitamin C, is one of those nutrients synthesized with the help of fungus.
Not to worry. Rose hips are a tasty option. They’re naturally rich in Vitamin C and bioflavonoids, things I talk about in the REPAIR section of my book, Break The Mold. I refer to bioflavonoids as the “Color Guard” against mold. We get them from colorful vegetables and fruits. You’ll see by the deep red color of this concentrated extract that it’s packed with bioflavonoids.
With its sweet-but-not-too-sweet flavor, this is one supplement I look forward to taking!
From The Book
Here are some key points from my book, Break The Mold, so you can see how this REPAIR tool fits into a mold recovery plan.
This picture best describes the steps to recover your health after a toxic mold exposure.
The first solution is to AVOID mold!
AVOIDANCE means getting away from the mold.
FUNDAMENTALS involve specific foods and lifestyle factors that can greatly improve your ability to conquer mold.
PROTECT and REPAIR is accomplished with targeted nutrients to manage the toxic damage from mycotoxin exposure.
FIGHT means conquering fungal overgrowth in your body.
