EcoNugenics® is the only brand of modified citrus pectin I trust because I’ve witnessed the clinical and laboratory differences, specifically a dramatic reduction in the lab test called galectin-3, a marker of inflammation.
This is my binder of choice for patients with rampant inflammation, whether due to environmental toxin exposure, cancer treatment, mast cell reactions, and/or die-off reactions.
I think of modified citrus pectin as a very thirsty ‘mop’. I will combine this with mold binders when someone feels like they’re drowning in inflammation and/or lymphatic stagnation.
Note: this is a ‘thirsty’ product, so can cause quite a bit of thirst in my patients who use it. Extra hydration is important when taking this product.
