Dr. Jill’s Commentary
Color Guard is my favorite super bioflavonoid blend for my mold-sick patients.
If there’s one thing I hear over and over again from patients, it’s that mold aged them and ruined their vision. This acceleration of aging is related to increased inflammation and oxidative stress. Oxidative stress is a science term that describes what happens at the cellular level when the body can’t keep up with the demands of excessive inflammation. The end result? Rapid aging of all tissues, and with mold, especially the eyes.
The bioflavonoids in this formula are specifically selected to combat the known oxidative and inflammatory effects from exposure to toxic indoor molds and mycotoxins. The aim is to hit all the color bands of the rainbow in clinically relevant amounts. Each color band represents a targeted bioflavonoid, which I discuss in the PROTECT section of my book, Break The Mold.
I’ve had patients report improved visual acuity and reduced eye fatigue from this formulation, especially that related to being on screens or exposed to blue light. They also report reduced signs of aging and inflammation.
From The Book
Here are some key points from my book, Break The Mold, so you can see how these PROTECT and REPAIR tools fit into a mold recovery plan.
This picture best describes the steps to recover your health after a toxic mold exposure.
The first solution is to AVOID mold!
AVOIDANCE means getting away from the mold.
FUNDAMENTALS involve specific foods and lifestyle factors that can greatly improve your ability to conquer mold.
PROTECT and REPAIR is accomplished with targeted nutrients to manage the toxic damage from mycotoxin exposure.
FIGHT means conquering fungal overgrowth in your body.
