Dr. Jill’s Commentary
Mold-related illness comes from exposure to indoor toxic mold spores, mold fragments, chemicals and mycotoxins. In my experience, it’s much more than a “mold allergy.” For my patients exposed to a water-damaged building, the majority of their symptoms are from the mycotoxins. So really, it’s also a toxicity illness. And the name of the game for recovery is detoxification.

Glutathione is our master antioxidant. In the REPAIR section of my book, Break The Mold, I lovingly refer to it as “the one antioxidant to rule them all” (respectful bow to The Lord of The Rings.) What I mean by this is that all roads lead to glutathione in cellular and liver detoxification. And what do mold mycotoxins deplete? You guessed it, glutathione.

And so here’s where the nuance of detox comes in. Many mold-sick people don’t tolerate straight up glutathione supplementation. The reason? They don’t have enough of the nutrients surrounding glutathione to help it work right. These are called glutathione precursors, coenzymes, and cofactors.

Nutrients and plants that assist glutathione in its activity were carefully chosen for this formulation. Some people only need this little bit of assistance to get their own glutathione pathways working again. Some need to also combine this formula with liposomal glutathione.

From The Book
Here are some key points from my book, Break The Mold, so you can see how these REPAIR tools fit into a mold recovery plan.
This picture best describes the steps to recover your health after a toxic mold exposure.

The first solution is to AVOID mold!

AVOIDANCE means getting away from the mold.

FUNDAMENTALS involve specific foods and lifestyle factors that can greatly improve your ability to conquer mold.

PROTECT and REPAIR is accomplished with targeted nutrients to manage the toxic damage from mycotoxin exposure.

FIGHT means conquering fungal overgrowth in your body.
