Dr. Jill’s Commentary
Mold mycotoxins create a very confusing blood and blood vessel picture. They cause an increased risk of clotting while at the same time, increased fragility of the blood vessels. This results in a mixed picture with thick blood and easy bleeding – two symptoms that aren’t supposed to go together. Usually people with thick blood clot very quickly. And people with blood vessel fragility bruise or bleed easily. People affected by mold can get both problems at the same time. For instance, a person may have poor circulation with slow capillary refill of the fingernails, but also get nose bleeds. Like I said, very confusing to your doctor.

Enzymes like Lumbrokinase help with one part of this problem. Enzymes assist by by chewing up inflammatory proteins. If you’ve ever eaten too much fresh pineapple and made your mouth tender and sore, you are familiar with this activity. We must also support the vessel fragility, which can be accomplished with cardiovascularly-focused bioflavonoid-rich herbs such as Hawthorn.

Lumbrokinase is also one of my go-to biofilm busters, as I talk about in the FIGHT section of my book. They are best taken away from food by 1 hour to make sure they’re working on biofilm proteins rather than dietary ones.

From The Book
Here are some key points from my book, Break The Mold, so you can see how this FIGHT tool fits into a mold recovery plan. This picture best describes the steps to recover your health after a toxic mold exposure.

The first solution is to AVOID mold!

AVOIDANCE means getting away from the mold.

FUNDAMENTALS involve specific foods and lifestyle factors that can greatly improve your ability to conquer mold.

PROTECT and REPAIR is accomplished with targeted nutrients to manage the toxic damage from mycotoxin exposure.

FIGHT means conquering fungal overgrowth in your body.
