Dr. Jill’s Commentary

CerebroPep is the oral version of an IV peptide helpful for neuroinflammation and vascular changes in the brain, called Cerebrolysin. Taking this specially-modified version by mouth, rather than by needle, is an effective way to get the inflammation reducing aid, though it can take a little longer to see the effects seen intravenously – but again, no needles involved!

Human and animal studies suggest that this “tame the brain flame” peptide is beneficial in headaches, migraines, post-concussion, stroke, and other vascular and neurodegenerative changes in the brain. I have found it to also be helpful to Tame the Flame in kids with PANDAS and PANS.

Typically, it takes about 2 weeks to see any changes, and longer term dosing has been beneficial to reduce the frequency of flares, despite exposures and triggering events.

Like other peptides from Integrative Peptides, the capsules can be opened and stirred into cool or room temp fluids. But this is from piggies, so it’s got a stronger taste than the milk-shake taste of BPC-157. Parents be warned! Ps – savory sauces work better than sweet, such as ketchup, soy sauce, or curry.
