I forgot Phosphatidylcholine!
Do you know the saying, “missed the forest for the trees?” 🌲🌳🌲🌳🌲🌳
That’s exactly what happened when I was writing my book.
I forgot PC!
Just like Vitamin D and fish oil, PC (phosphatidylcholine) is something I use on a daily basis with many patients, because I specialize in conditions that involve neuroinflammation – such as concussion, PANDAS/PANS, Lyme, and of course – MOLD.
It’s so familiar to me, it didn’t stand out as something that needed to go in the book, even though I teach about it in my doctor course.
Durp!
I was so intrigued by the things that are unique and well-studied, I missed one of my common go-to tools.
📚 That was a book-writing mistake.
PC is instrumental in making and moving bile – the body fluid that carries mycotoxins out of the body in our 💩.
Binders grab bile, and thus PC, so we can get deficient in it.
Also, bile can get sludgy with too much mycotoxin exposure. It needs thinning to keep detox moving efficiently.
What does this thinning job?
Phosphatidylcholine!
Watch for a PC food sources post up next. 👍🏻
