many people with MOLD exposure have similar problems? Health problems from MOLD affect many areas of the body. Mold symptoms can show up in your nose, sinuses, and your lungs. But it can also cause problems in other areas of the body. MOLD can cause ear ringing and change your vision. MOLD can also affect the digestive tract mimicking irritable bowel syndrome. MOLD harms your liver and kidneys, and can make you urinate frequently. These are just a few examples of the problems MOLD can cause.

many people with exposure to MOLD get sick more often? Mold can impair your immune system which leaves you with a weakened defense against viral, bacterial, and fungal infections. This increases your susceptibility to infections and some kinds of cancer. Many people with MOLD sickness don't know that lingering colds and frequent infections is really due to MOLD lurking underneath.

many people with MOLD exposure feel tired all the time? In fact, studies have shown that a majority of people with chronic fatigue syndrome had MOLD exposure before or during their illness. MOLD reduces the energy that each cell in your body can create, making you feel like you're running on "low battery" all the time. You might feel that exercise is nearly impossible and that it leaves you feeling completely wiped out. Mold toxins affect how fast your brain can think, causing a dull feeling of the mind and a sense of slowed thinking.


one of the most common things people with MOLD exposure describe is a sense of nervousness, or that they can’t settle? This is an internal feeling. Often the people around you don’t even know it’s happening. Some people even seek anti-anxiety medication from their doctors, which only partially helps until the MOLD is eradicated.

most doctors don't learn about MOLD sickness in medical school? It’s really not your doctor’s fault if s/he hasn’t mentioned MOLD sickness yet. We don’t learn about this in medical school. It’s a medical specialty called Environmental Medicine. I teach doctors all across the country about MOLD sickness, and they commonly say that this is the first time they’ve learned about it.  Many comment that they're sure they had been missing MOLD sickness in their patients.

MOLD gases are even more harmful than mold spores? Yes, mold spores are bad for your health, but the gasses are worse. The gases have the largest impact on your health, and yet they have no odor or color to help you detect them. They can seep through almost any building material, and make you sick if you breathe them, eat them, and if they soak through your skin. So even if you can’t see or smell mold, it could still be causing a health problem.


1 in 4 buildings in the US have had water-damage sufficient to grow MOLD? And the types of molds are those that can harm human and animal health. DID YOU KNOW that MOLD can grow on a surface within 24-48 hours of getting wet? And it doesn’t even take a major flood or leak. High indoor humidity provides enough moisture to grow mold. DID YOU KNOW that NO amount of MOLD or mildew indoors is ok?
