Dr. Jill’s Commentary
Rebalancing the flora is critical after a toxic indoor mold exposure. After exposure, the sinuses and gut can become overburdened by things in the fungus family, including yeasts and molds. With the assaults from mycotoxins on the immune system and integrity of the linings of these systems, often people need assistance with antifungal agents. The goal is to re-establish a thriving, healthy microbiome.

Antifungal pharmaceuticals can bring some aid, but come with risks, including liver stress, heart rate changes, and harsh die-off reactions. And we know mold doesn’t go down without a fight. Studies have shown that Aspergillus increases its production of gliotoxin when exposed to the antifungal Amphotericin B.**

There are other ways. You may recognize some common culinary herbs in this formula, many of which I talk about in the FIGHT section of my book, Break The Mold. Some are water-soluble, and some are lipid-soluble, to gain a broader range of activity in all of the juicy tissues where fungus likes to live. The herbs are combined with targeted antioxidants to support a healthy inflammatory response and are a gentle but effective way to move into the FIGHT phase.

I’m quite impressed how this blend subtly exerts its effects.

From The Book
Here are some key points from my book, Break The Mold, so you can see how these FIGHT tools fit into a mold recovery plan.
This picture best describes the steps to recover your health after a toxic mold exposure.

The first solution is to AVOID mold!

AVOIDANCE means getting away from the mold.

FUNDAMENTALS involve specific foods and lifestyle factors that can greatly improve your ability to conquer mold.

PROTECT and REPAIR is accomplished with targeted nutrients to manage the toxic damage from mycotoxin exposure.

FIGHT means conquering fungal overgrowth in your body.
