Vitamin C is so familiar, it’s almost lost its importance in natural medicine. As if it’s lost its sex appeal because we know it so well. Well I’m here to tell you – it’s one of the most critical components in healing. And as if mold knows this, it seems to eat it like candy.
Vitamin C is the foundation of the antioxidant cascade. It IS the entourage effect – all by itself. Vitamin C recharges other antioxidants after they’re used. So if you don’t have enough Vitamin C to recharge your system, other antioxidants peter out and lose effectiveness.
As I talk about in the REPAIR section of my book, Break The Mold, bioflavonoids such as Vitamin C “are incredibly powerful at protecting you from the negative effects of mold spores and toxins.” Since it’s water-soluble, there’s a limit to how much our bodies can absorb at one time UNLESS we take it in a liposomal form.
