Dr. Jill’s Commentary
Citrinin has a very broad spectrum of negative impacts on the body, but the kidneys take the biggest hit. Both the kidney and liver are involved in its detoxification, so treatments are targeted toward supplying Citrinin-specific protection for these organs.*

MycoXpel. Contains a blend of nutrients and herbs found in studies on Citrinin to be genoprotective, hepatoprotective, and most importantly, nephroprotective.*

Liposomal Glutathione. Chief among Citrinin’s other negative impacts is mitochondrial dysfunction, with symptoms showing up most prominently in organ systems under high demand, such as the heart, digestion, and reproduction. Glutathione deficiency plays a key role in cellular mitochondrial dysfunction with this mycotoxin.*

Resveratrol. Hepatoprotection demonstrated when coadministered with reactive oxygen species scavengers NAC & tocotrienols, as found in MycoXpel.*

Citrinin can also impede fertility and prevent successful pregnancy.
