Beyond Brain Damage: Endocrine Sequelae from Traumatic Brain Injury

Concussions are on the rise, leading to an increase in people suffering from post-concussion syndrome. Regardless of severity, the injury can also damage endocrine tissue in the brain, causing downstream hormone dysregulation in nearly half of all TBI cases. Breaking The Mold: How To Rescue Your Patients From Exposure To Mold

Dr. Jill Crista became a reluctant expert on mold through patient experiences and by having mold sprout in her own home. She shared what she learned about mold after an in-depth literature review. She briefly covered mold’s mechanisms for causing reactions, symptoms of mold, and testing options. The bulk of the time was spent covering key herbal allies that help rid the body of the toxins left behind after exposure to water-damaged buildings.
